Echoes of Aincrad Drops New Story Trailer Ahead of Launch

Echoes of Aincrad Risks Reality 

Dying in this game means dying in real life. So what happens if you become trapped in the game and need to clear 100 levels to escape? Will you have the strength? Or will the game claim another victim? Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released the latest story trailer for their upcoming action RPG, Echoes of Aincrad. Set in the popular Sword Art Online Universe, the game unleashes players into a world where dying in this virtual reality means death in real life. Don’t worry though, that’s only for the characters in the story. Yet as players advance through this tale of life and death, they will uncover that they are trapped in the floating castle Aincrad with only one way out. A press release provides more details. 

Echoes of Aincrad sees players become a hero meant to unite a group of gamers stuck in a virtual world. Focusing on action gameplay and RPG systems, players will need to rely on partners and their own special skills to survive this world. Of course, fans of Sword Art Online can keep their eyes open for familiar faces in the game world and the trailer. Select your role, build your party, and save the population of a virtual world.
