Brave New Wonders Is Releasing an Updated Demo During Steam Next Fest

Prepare to Enter the Post-Apocalyptic World of Brave New Wonders

Canadian studio City From Naught Inc. is delighted to announce that its upcoming steampunk strategy game, Brave New Wonders, will debut an updated demo during Steam Next Fest, scheduled for June 15 to 22, 2026. The game has already been gaining attention, with recent features in PC Gamer magazine and a front cover appearance on MCV.

The new demo will offer around three to four hours of gameplay. It will take place across two distinct regions known as America Island and Europe Island. Players step into the role of a newcomer trying to rebuild civilization in a fractured, post-apocalyptic world. The experience blends guided tutorials with open-ended gameplay, gradually introducing its core systems.

One of the standout features is its unique text-command system, which allows players to control automatons using written instructions. In their journey to prosperity, players will construct and manage factories, explore ancient ruins, and unlock new technologies. All while traveling between floating islands in search of long-lost knowledge.

The world itself is full of mystery and danger. As players expand their industrial networks, they will encounter remnants of the old world. This includes hostile drones still carrying out forgotten commands. Balancing exploration, automation, and survival becomes key as the stakes continue to rise.

Brave New Wonders aims to offer a fresh take on factory-building strategy games, combining creativity with a strong sense of discovery. Overall, this demo looks like it will give a promising glimpse into a bold and unusual project worth keeping an eye on.
