Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has officially revealed the release date, pre-order details, and a brand-new Premium Ace Pass for ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE, marking the franchise’s long-awaited return after seven years. The upcoming flight action title will launch on October 2, 2026. While the early access starts from September 29 for players who purchase the Deluxe Edition.
Developed by Bandai Namco Aces Inc., the latest installment promises to push the series to new heights by leveraging Unreal Engine 5 alongside proprietary cloud technology. The result is an ultra-realistic aerial combat experience, featuring detailed cities, expansive landscapes, and high-intensity dogfights. ACE COMBAT 8 delivers a cinematic campaign set in the fictional Strangereal universe. Here, players step into the role of an ace pilot fighting to save their homeland. With the Federation of Central Usea under occupation, players become the symbol of resistance. They must lead a desperate fight against the Republic of Sotoa. Alongside squadmates Baxter, Tasha, and Coster, collectively known as Joker Flight, the story unfolds through emotional stakes and large-scale aerial warfare.
