Truck-kun Is on Its Way
Strange Scaffold has officially revealed that its offbeat anime-inspired driving game, Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?!, will launch on July 29 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. The announcement came during the Black Voices in Gaming showcase, offering a fresh look at one of the studio’s most unusual projects yet.
Ahead of its release, players will get early hands-on opportunities through a free public demo at the Tribeca Festival in New York City from June 10 to 14, as well as during Steam Next Fest later this month.
The game leans heavily into the popular “truck-kun” isekai trope, where characters are transported to another world after being hit by a vehicle. In this case, players take control of chaotic deliveries, smashing into obstacles to send them into the fantasy realm of Talinfold. After one such incident, a young woman named Carissa finds herself reborn in this world as a powerful elf hero.
Progression revolves around reckless driving and large-scale destruction, as players send useful items across dimensions to aid Carissa’s journey. The ultimate goal is to unlock the Galactic Gate, defeat the Skeleton King, and secure the legendary Scroll of Resurrection.
Known for its distinctive style, Strange Scaffold blends absurd humor with character-driven storytelling, giving this bizarre premise a surprisingly heartfelt edge.
With its mix of high-speed chaos and isekai-inspired adventure, Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! looks set to deliver something both ridiculous and memorable when it arrives later this July.
