New Content Awaits in MONGIL: STAR DIVE
Netmarble has rolled out a new major update for its action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE, bringing fresh content and gameplay improvements for players to explore. The update introduces a brand-new playable character, expands the story, and adds challenging combat content alongside several quality-of-life upgrades.
The highlight of the update is Narae, a new 5-star character who joins the roster as an Ice-element Support. Known as the younger sister of Mina, the Kumiho Maiden, Narae has quietly trained to master her water-based abilities, aiming to support her family and ease her sister’s burden. In battle, she uses water droplets to attack enemies while protecting allies. Her special skill, “Dew Blankets All,” provides shields and boosts team damage, making her a valuable addition across multiple combat scenarios.
To celebrate her arrival, players can take part in a limited three-week event focused on Narae. The event offers additional story content and rewards, including a unique animated profile background.
The update also introduces “Legendary Conquest,” a new weekly mode featuring the first Legendary Monster, Reginula. Players must assemble three separate teams, each tailored to specific elements and objectives, encouraging strategic planning and coordination to maximize performance.
Story content has also been expanded with Episode 6, titled “Flowers Blooming from Scars,” alongside the introduction of the new region, Muwon. This chapter brings new narrative developments and challenges, including the appearance of the Swamp Lord boss, Red Shadow.
In addition, Netmarble has implemented several improvements based on player feedback, such as enhanced Monsterling filters, automatic basic attacks for PC players, and updates to the equipment salvage system.
