MONGIL: Star Dive Introduces New Character Mina in Latest Update

Mina Makes Her Appearance in MONGIL: STAR DIVE

Netmarble has rolled out the first major post-launch update for MONGIL: STAR DIVE, introducing a powerful new character, Mina. The update also arrives alongside fresh events and quality-of-life improvements.

Mina arrives as a central figure in the game’s expanding narrative. A nine-tailed fox tied to the lineage of a Divine Maiden who serves the God of Fate, she holds a respected position within the Far East beastkin society. Beneath her calm and composed exterior, however, lies the weight of a destiny she cannot escape, adding depth to her role in the story.

In combat, Mina is a five-star Fighter-type character aligned with the fire attribute. Her kit focuses on high burst damage, using Foxfire Orbs to attack enemies. Her ultimate ability, Foxfire Clone, not only delivers heavy fire damage but also summons a clone that fights alongside her, increasing her overall impact on the battlefield. When paired with allies who can inflict fire-based debuffs, Mina becomes a strong asset across multiple game modes.

To mark her arrival, a four-week summoning event centered on Mina is now live. Players can also take part in the “Flame That Takes” event, which expands her story. All while offering event currency through missions and dungeon runs. These rewards can be exchanged for various items, including a special LIVE background and progression materials. The update also introduces useful improvements, such as a Monsterling trait-grade filter and an event-story skip feature, making gameplay smoother.

Originally inspired by Monster Taming, the reimagined title continues to evolve with cinematic storytelling, real-time combat, and a deep collection system powered by Unreal Engine 5.

Overall, this update strengthens both the gameplay and narrative of MONGIL: STAR DIVE, giving players a compelling reason to jump back in.
