Space Haven Launches Full Version 1.0 Following a Decade of Evolution

Manage Your Spaceship Colony in Space Haven

After a decade of steady development, indie studio Bugbyte Ltd has officially launched the full version 1.0 of Space Haven. Built by a small three-person team in Finland, the sci-fi colony simulation has finally exited Early Access and is now available on PC via Steam as a complete experience.

To mark the release, the game is available with a limited-time 40% discount for the first two weeks, bringing the price down to $14.99. Since its Early Access debut in 2020, Space Haven has grown significantly. It has sold over 700,000 copies while evolving through major updates shaped heavily by community feedback.

Set in a universe where Earth has collapsed, the game places players in control of a group of survivors searching for a new home in deep space. It blends detailed shipbuilding, resource management, and emergent storytelling into a dynamic sandbox experience. Players can design spacecraft tile by tile while managing oxygen, temperature, power, and other life-support systems, all while keeping their crew physically and mentally stable.

Each crew member comes with unique traits, relationships, and emotional states, which influence how events unfold during gameplay. From tense encounters with alien threats to emotional farewells for fallen crew, the game focuses on unpredictable, player-driven stories.

Beyond survival, players can explore abandoned ships, engage in tactical combat, and interact with various factions across a procedurally generated galaxy, ensuring no two journeys feel the same.

With its full release, Space Haven now delivers a complete and polished experience. It stands as a strong example of long-term indie development, offering players a deep and immersive journey through the challenges of life among the stars.
