Join the Action in Alien: Rogue Incursion
Survios has expanded the reach of its action-horror title Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition, bringing the experience to Nintendo Switch 2 today. The launch arrives just ahead of Alien Day on April 26, further strengthening the game’s presence across platforms, which already include Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and VR. A PlayStation 4 version is also planned for release in the near future.
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition introduces a notable control enhancement designed to take advantage of the console’s hardware. Players can detach a Joy-Con and place it on a surface to instantly activate mouse-style aiming. This allows more precise targeting without the need to adjust settings. This seamless transition adds a layer of control that fits naturally into the game’s intense combat scenarios.
Staying true to the tone of the Alien franchise, the game delivers a tense and immersive narrative set between the events of Alien and Aliens. Players take on the role of rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, who responds to a distress signal on the distant planet Purdan. Her investigation leads to a hidden facility operated by Gemini Exoplanet Solutions, now overrun by deadly Xenomorphs. With support from her synthetic companion, Davis 01, survival becomes a constant struggle against an unpredictable threat.
With cinematic visuals, detailed 3D audio, and refined controls, the latest edition enhances the overall experience. The game is available now on Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo eShop. This release marks another strong step in bringing the Alien universe to a wider audience.
