Join the Mayhem in the Last Flag
Night Street Games has officially released Last Flag, its debut title, bringing a fast-paced 5v5 capture-the-flag shooter to PC players worldwide. The studio, co-founded by brothers Dan Reynolds and Mac Reynolds, introduces a unique twist on the classic mode by setting the action inside an alternate 1970s-inspired TV show packed with bold personalities and over-the-top competition.
Now available on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Last Flag will also expand to consoles later this summer, with planned releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S.
At its core, Last Flag focuses entirely on capture-the-flag gameplay. Players must hide their team’s flag, locate the enemy’s, and defend it for a full minute to secure victory. Matches unfold across large outdoor arenas filled with hidden paths and strategic locations. Features like radar towers help teams track enemy flags while doubling as respawn points, adding a tactical layer to the otherwise chaotic combat. The action leans into spectacle, delivering explosive abilities and dramatic finishing moves.
The game launches in two editions, both currently discounted. Notably, it avoids modern monetization trends. There are no battle passes or microtransactions, and players can unlock over 200 cosmetic items simply by playing.
Looking ahead, Night Street Games has confirmed two free updates arriving this summer, adding a new map, a tenth contestant, a fresh game mode, and more rewards.
The game’s soundtrack also stands out, created by Dan Reynolds alongside JT Daly and Dave Lowmiller, capturing an authentic 1970s vibe with vintage instruments and voice-acted performances.
Overall, Last Flag makes a confident debut, blending nostalgic design with modern multiplayer energy. Go ahead and join the action right now!
