Arknights: Endfield is set to receive a major new update on April 17, as publisher GRYPHLINE has officially announced ‘At the Wake of Spring’. It’s a free content drop that pushes the Wuling storyline forward in a big way.
This update focuses on a pivotal chapter in Wuling, where rising tensions quickly escalate into a full-blown crisis. The story kicks off with an urgent message from Zhuang Fangyi following the sudden appearance of Ardashir in the Marker Stone area, a key facility tied to the region’s stability. At the same time, Nefarith steps into open conflict, leading to a high-stakes boss encounter that marks players’ first direct battle against her.
One of the standout additions is Zhuang Fangyi herself, who becomes playable for the first time. She brings Electric-based abilities into combat, combining lightning attacks with swift swordplay, making her a powerful new option for players building their squads.
Outside of the story, the update expands Wuling with new exploration content, including additional map areas and the upcoming Test Area, which will introduce puzzle-solving and post-disaster restoration activities. The game’s industrial side also gets a boost with a new outpost, fresh resources, and expanded production systems, further deepening its factory-building mechanics.
Players can also expect new events, permanent gameplay updates, quality-of-life improvements, and added rewards across progression and combat systems.
