Check Out the Awesome Video of There Are No Ghosts at the Grand
Developer Friday Sundae revealed a brand-new music video for its upcoming supernatural mystery game, There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase. Alongside the debut, the studio also confirmed that musician Marcia Richards has joined the game’s cast as the character Lily.
Titled “Skeletons in the Closet,” the newly released music video highlights the game’s unusual blend of offbeat humor, Lovecraftian mystery, and theatrical musical elements. The video offers another look at the strange world of the Grand, where creaking hallways hide secrets, and the town’s residents seem to know more than they reveal.
The musical showcase reflects the game’s distinctive tone, combining spooky adventure with comedic moments and dramatic musical performances. The result is a strange yet entertaining mix that sets There Are No Ghosts at the Grand apart as a supernatural story that also leans heavily into musical storytelling.
Friday Sundae also introduced Marcia Richards as the voice behind Lily, one of the game’s central characters. Richards is a London-based vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for her work with the band The Skints. Her music draws influence from reggae, ska, dub, and punk, giving the character a unique voice.
Lily plays a key role in the story as one of eight important characters connected to the mysterious hotel. She remains a warm and curious presence while the Grand slowly descends into supernatural chaos.
In the game, players inherit a rundown hotel on the English coast and are given 30 days and 30 nights to restore it. As renovations begin, players uncover a deeper Lovecraftian mystery tied to the hotel’s past and the town surrounding it.
A demo for There Are No Ghosts at the Grand is currently available on Steam, with more cast announcements expected soon.
