NORSE: Oath of Blood Heads to The Dark Ages

Assemble your Vikings and let their swords sing. Your destiny and the destiny of all of Norway is written in blood. The question that remains is: whose blood shall it be? Today, Tripwire Interactive, and developer Arctic Hazard are happy to announce the release of their turn-based tactical game, NORSE: Oath of Blood. Introducing players to the Dark Ages as they step into the boots of a Viking Warrior, the game features a tactical twist. Of course, a press release provides more details on the game. Additionally, a launch trailer plunges players into the Viking Age. 

NORSE: Oath of Blood places players in the boots of the betrayed Gunnar. A young Warrior, Gunnar finds himself cast out of his home after the treacherous Steinarr Far-Spear murders his father, Jarl Gripr. Now, driven by vengeance, Gunnar will rebuild his life, gather his allies and seek justice for his father and his throne. Importantly, the game allows players to engage in tactical turn-based combat where players will lead their own Viking warband. During combat, positioning, terrain, and timing all have a hand in victory or death. Additionally, players get the chance to build up their own settlement, build relationships with those in their warband, and make critical narrative defining choices.
