Welcome to Cozy Beach
LunaBeat has rolled out a fresh update for the Cozy Beach Steam demo, introducing several quality-of-life improvements alongside new content. The update adds a clearer and more intuitive interaction system, faster swimming, numerous bug fixes, and performance optimizations to ensure smooth play on the Steam Deck. To mark the occasion, the team has also released a brand-new trailer showcasing updated gameplay footage and the laid-back island atmosphere.
Cozy Beach is a wholesome, feel-good experience set on a sunny tropical island, designed for relaxed solo play or casual multiplayer sessions with friends. Players can spend their time fishing, exploring the ocean, hunting for treasure, or simply hanging out and enjoying the scenery at their own pace. Fishing plays a central role, with a wide variety of species to catch and log in a tracking journal, including rare finds that reward patience and exploration.
Swimming and floating across the water opens access to new islands and productive fishing spots, some of which hide unique fish and collectibles. Players can also gather fruits, collect seashells, and uncover treasure maps that lead to hidden rewards. Crafting tropical drinks with the friendly capybara barkeeper adds a light progression system, offering temporary bonuses that enhance fishing abilities.
Customization is another highlight, allowing players to personalize an adorable kitty avatar with a range of outfits and styles. Emotes, dancing, and in-game radio music help set a cheerful tone, whether you are playing alone or socializing online. With three island worlds planned and full Steam Deck support, Cozy Beach aims to be a cozy escape you can enjoy anywhere. The updated demo is available now on Steam for Windows and Steam Deck.
