Styx: Blades of Greed Just Dropped a New Gameplay Trailer

The Devious Goblin Returns in Styx: Blades of Greed

NACON and Cyanide Studio have kicked off the New Year 2026 by revealing the first gameplay trailer for Styx: Blades of Greed. More than eight years after his last outing, the sharp-tongued goblin returns in a third-person, single-player stealth adventure set to launch on February 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

In Styx: Blades of Greed, you will explore the Continent of Iserian, a world built around height, hidden routes, and layered spaces. The stealth centers on the player’s creativity, encouraging experimentation instead of fixed solutions. Each mission supports multiple approaches, letting you sneak through areas or manipulate enemies. You can even set traps or strike from the shadows in your own style.

Styx also gains access to a powerful new resource called Quartz, which grants him abilities to influence enemies and even manipulate time. New tools expand his mobility, including a glider for aerial movement, metal claws for wall climbing, and a grappling hook that lets him reach hard-to-access areas. Skill trees and runes support progression by enhancing abilities and subtly shaping how the game plays.

Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game features large-scale vertical environments and, for the first time in the series, adopts a Metroidvania-inspired structure. As Styx unlocks new abilities, he can access previously unreachable areas, rewarding exploration and mastery.

As the third entry in the Styx series, which has reached over two million players worldwide, Blades of Greed refines the franchise’s core ideas by placing freedom, creativity, and stealth at the center of the experience. Styx: Blades of Greed arrives on February 19, 2026. So, make sure to keep an eye out.
