Tomb Raider Will Journey Onto Mobile Devices Next Year

Lara Croft Makes Her Way to Android and iOS

Feral Interactive has announced that Tomb Raider will arrive on iOS and Android on February 12, 2026. This release brings the opening chapter of Crystal Dynamics’ acclaimed ‘Survivor Trilogy’ to mobile devices, marking the first time a full modern Tomb Raider console experience is available on phones and tablets.

The game follows a young Lara Croft as she embarks on her first archaeological expedition, only for it to end in disaster when a storm shipwrecks her on the mysterious island of Yamatai. Stranded and unprepared, Lara fights through a brutal struggle to stay alive. Her fight for survival slowly turns into a dangerous journey into the island’s dark history. She will navigate deadly traps, confront hostile enemies, and uncover long-buried secrets. Starting with little more than determination and instinct, Lara grows stronger as she pushes toward escape from Yamatai’s grasp.

The mobile version delivers the complete origin story, featuring every major puzzle, cinematic moment, and combat encounter from the original console release. Players will have access to Lara’s full range of weapons and skills, along with 12 downloadable content packs included at no additional cost. These add extra upgrades, outfits, and a bonus Challenge Tomb to extend the experience.

Designed specifically for mobile hardware, Tomb Raider delivers a fully customisable touchscreen layout that balances exploration, puzzles, and combat. The game includes gamepad support, along with keyboard and mouse support on iPadOS and Android. It will also offer gyroscopic aiming on compatible devices. Players can adjust visual quality and performance through optimisation presets, choosing between smoother gameplay or higher graphical fidelity.

Tomb Raider launches on iOS and Android on February 12, 2026, priced at $19.99, £12.99, or €15.99, with regional variations. Preorders are open on the App Store, and Android users can pre-register on Google Play.
