Fight for Your Freedom in KIBORG
KIBORG, the intense rogue-lite beat ’em up from Sobaka Studio, arrives on Nintendo Switch today, bringing its harsh world of cybernetic combat to a new arena. The game follows Morgan Lee, a resistance leader wrongfully sentenced to 1,300 years on a notorious prison planet where escape is nearly impossible. Parole does not exist, but there is one path to freedom. Morgan must survive The Last Ticket, a wildly popular galactic game show that forces inmates to battle their way to the top of the prison. Failure means death, yet death only sends him back to his cell to begin again.
In the game, players guide Morgan through violent, fast-paced encounters that reward precision and rhythm. Combos land with real weight, whether delivered through heavy sledgehammers, close-range firearms, or Morgan’s own fists. Each weapon encourages a distinct style, and every encounter pushes Morgan to fight harder enemies.
Progress grows deeper with cybernetic implants, turning Morgan into a highly customized fighter. Hundreds of augments can be mixed, upgraded, and paired with weapons to shape powerful builds. These systems allow for many unique combinations, encouraging experimentation as each failed run reveals new paths and advantages. Morgan’s journey becomes a cycle of adaptation and resilience, pushing him closer to freedom with every attempt.
“Even though KIBORG launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S earlier this year, we couldn’t let Morgan off the hook,” said Dmitry Kachkov, Head of Sobaka Studio. “We can’t wait to see what KIBORG veterans and new inmates blaze a trail to freedom with today’s Nintendo Switch launch.
KIBORG is now available on Nintendo Switch for 24.99 USD. It promises to offer a fierce blend of action, progression, and high-stakes combat in a world where every victory matters.
