Big Additions for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 multiplayer beta has received a major update today with the addition of Zombies and a new multiplayer mode called Overload. Players can now dive into the Zombies Survival mode on the Vandorn Farm map, offering the classic undead challenge fans have come to expect. Activision has advised that if Zombies do not appear when launching the beta, simply restarting the client should resolve the issue.
Alongside Zombies, the beta has also expanded its multiplayer content with the addition of the new map Imprint. The highlight of today’s update is the Overload mode, a 6v6 experience featuring respawns and fast-paced team action. In Overload, players compete to capture an “Overload Device” and carry it to a designated zone near the opposing team’s spawn point. Teams must work together to protect the device carrier while fending off the enemy, making strategic coordination essential for victory.

For players keen on tracking their performance, Activision has launched a dedicated stat-tracking website. By entering an Activision ID, users can view total wins, K/D ratio, total matches played, and total kills, among other statistics. Fans can also share their IDs on social platforms to quickly see their game metrics.
Players who have preordered, have Game Pass Ultimate, or have acquired a code can currently access the Black Ops 7 beta, which will open to everyone on October 5 and run through October 8. The developers will release the full game on November 14. With competition heating up, another first-person shooter, Battlefield 6, will launch just a few days earlier on October 10, promising an exciting month for FPS enthusiasts.
This update ensures that players have new challenges and experiences to explore in the Black Ops 7 beta, building anticipation for the full game’s launch later this year.
