Erenshor Has Received Its Call of the Storm Patch

New Improvements for Erenshor

Burgee Media has announced that version 0.2 of Erenshor, titled Call of the Storm, is officially live on Steam. This ambitious patch reshapes the game with sweeping changes to combat, class roles, world design, and user experience, marking one of the most significant updates to date.

At the heart of the update lies a complete rebalance of core gameplay systems. The developers reworked the combat system with adjustments to items and spells. While several classes also received meaningful updates. Duelists and Paladins see major redesigns, and a new class, the Stormcaller, arrives to introduce ranged archery and storm-powered mechanics, opening new possibilities for playstyles.

The world itself grows more dynamic, with existing areas such as Island Tomb and Krakengard rebuilt into larger, more open spaces. A new zone, Willowwatch, offers an alternate tutorial path aimed at improving the early-game experience for new players.

Core gameplay also sees notable shifts. Party size increases from four to five, expanding strategic options for group composition. Player control has been enhanced with more flexible group management tools. And both ally AI and enemy AI now behave in more nuanced and challenging ways. A new proficiency allocation system gives players deeper customization over their builds, further refining character progression.

Alongside these changes, user experience receives considerable attention. The interface has been redesigned for clarity and smoother inventory handling, making statistics and equipment management easier to navigate. Over two dozen new items expand the loot pool, while additional character slots ensure players can experiment freely with new builds and classes.

Call of the Storm sets the stage for a richer, more engaging journey through Erenshor, promising players both fresh challenges and refined systems that elevate the entire experience.
