Scandinavian Folklore Awaits in Hela
Knights Peak and Windup Games have announced that Hela will be available for hands-on play at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Both press and public attendees are welcome to enjoy the game at Hall 7, Booth 07N13. The third-person open-world adventure, which supports solo play and cooperative multiplayer, will be playable from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Visitors will get the chance to experience the debut title from the creators of the Unravel series, a game already praised for its heartwarming style and rich world. Members of the development team will be present throughout the event, eager to connect with players and media representatives.

Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian folklore, Hela invites players to explore breathtaking magical landscapes. All while solving creative puzzles and brewing potions to aid a sick witch friend. The cooperative multiplayer mode allows up to three friends to join the journey, making the experience even more engaging.
Hela has already received recognition, winning two gamescom 2025 awards for ‘Most Entertaining’ and ‘Most Wholesome’. Its Tokyo Game Show appearance marks the game’s first playable showcase in Asia, offering a new audience the chance to step into its enchanting world. The game will be coming out on Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2026.
