More Excitement for Holo’s Hanafuda
Holo’s Hanafuda is expanding its vibrant world with the announcement of its second downloadable content pack, the “Hoshimachi Suisei & Tokoyami Towa Set”. Developed by Gemdrops, Inc., the new DLC will launch on September 30 (JST) / September 29 (EDT/PDT) and will also make a special appearance at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Fans attending the event at Makuhari Messe between September 25 and 28 can try a playable demo at the Gemdrops booth in Hall 5.
This latest addition to the hololive-inspired adventure game unveils a new chapter following Suisei and Towa’s journey into “that world.” Players will gain access to both idols as playable talents, complete with two alternate outfits each, an additional scenario titled “Hoshimachi Suisei & Tokoyami Towa Chapter,” two new BGM tracks, and a dozen fresh titles. Over thirty new bento box items are included, adding more ways to customize your game experience.
Two powerful new Talent Skills, “Gleaming Star” and “Devilish Stratagem,” promise to shake up matches in the competitive “Holo Awase” mode. With these abilities, players can craft fresh strategies and create more intense, fast-paced battles.
The Tokyo Game Show demo will not only let visitors experience the DLC early but also reward participants with a special novelty gift. The booth will feature unique displays, including the puppets and set pieces from the game’s stop-motion animated opening and a showcase of physical Holo’s Hanafuda cards manufactured by Nintendo.
Alongside Holo’s Hanafuda, Gemdrops will present demos for PICO PARK 2 + MOUSE STAGE on Nintendo Switch 2 and Etrange Overlord. The event promises an exciting sneak peek for fans eager to experience the next evolution of Holo’s Hanafuda.
