Rally Your Troops in Shields of Loyalty
Mosaic Mask Studio, together with indie publishing platform indie.io, has officially launched Shields of Loyalty 1.0 on Steam. After years of development and input from its player community, the turn-based, hex-grid strategy game leaves Early Access with a full suite of features, a third playable faction, and the complete single-player campaign set in the war-torn fantasy realm of Mantaria.

Drawing inspiration from classics like Fantasy General, Panzer General, and Heroes of Might and Magic II, Shields of Loyalty blends traditional wargame depth with modern design. Players command customizable armies across diverse battlefields where terrain, weather, and timing shape every encounter. From storm-lashed plains to ancient ruins, each tile can turn the tide of war.
The 1.0 release introduces the High Priests, a faction of mystical tacticians who wield elemental powers to heal allies, disrupt foes, and reshape the battlefield. They join the agile Knightly Order, specialists in cavalry maneuvers, and the Warlord Clans, whose disciplined warriors dominate close combat.
Every match demands more than brute force. Towns and castles provide vital defensive bonuses but invite sieges from specialized units. Weather effects like lightning, fire, and frost alter the map in real time, while forests shield infantry, plains enable cavalry charges, and high ground boosts archers’ range. Flying units bypass obstacles entirely, striking at vulnerable points.
The finished campaign spans three handcrafted islands filled with new missions, mercenary reinforcements, and challenging mini-bosses such as the formidable Goatking. A refined UI, updated sound design, and faction-specific music further sharpen the experience.
Shields of Loyalty is available now for USD 19.99, with a 30 percent launch discount for a limited time. The game offers support in eight languages, including English, German, French, and Spanish.
