Face the Horror in NEDRA
Solo developer Davit Andreasyan, in collaboration with indie.io, has launched NEDRA, a first-person survival horror set in Soviet-era Antarctica. Now available on Steam for $14.99 with a 20% launch discount, this game drops players into the boots of Artur Arayan, a mechanic thrust into a frozen nightmare after a rescue mission goes catastrophically wrong.

Players must navigate a brutal environment filled with ancient horrors, deranged cultists, and freezing temperatures. After surviving a crash, Artur stumbles into an abandoned Soviet research station, only to discover that warmth, his only respite from the cold, also draws the monstrous Frostwalkers. Every decision becomes a gamble: stay warm and risk being seen, or freeze to remain hidden?
Combat in NEDRA is a last resort. With only a crowbar, flare gun, and blowtorch, Artur must rely on stealth and survival instincts. Players are pushed to the edge, choosing between temporary survival aids like painkillers or more desperate measures like consuming mutated parasites to go undetected.
The game’s tension lies in its constant balancing act. Heat brings danger but also weakens enemies, turning every encounter into a calculated risk. Beyond survival, NEDRA offers a deep narrative steeped in cosmic horror, ancient secrets, and moral choices that challenge the player’s sense of humanity.
NEDRA marks the beginning of a larger universe that Andreasyan has been shaping for over two decades. It stands as both a standalone experience and a glimpse into a wider mythology built on mystery and fear.
Now available on Steam, NEDRA invites players to brave the dark and uncover what lies buried beneath the Antarctic ice. Check out the official launch trailer below.
