Sign Up to Test Neverness to Everness
Perfect World Games and Hotta Studio have announced the next Closed Beta for their upcoming title, Neverness to Everness (NTE). The beta will run on Windows PC from July 3 to 16, offering players a fresh look at the evolving city of Hethereau.
Revealed during a special livestream, the update includes a range of new systems and upgrades. One major addition is the vehicle requisition and wanted system. Players can now freely commandeer vehicles, but illegal actions will trigger a multi-tiered warning system that escalates based on player behavior. Street racing has also received a spotlight, with players able to challenge friends or rival crews. They can finally go toe to toe in high-speed competitions through the city’s districts.
The game’s dynamic weather system sees notable enhancements, introducing advanced snow mechanics. Snow now features real-time PBR materials and subsurface scattering, making each flake appear lifelike and translucent, heightening immersion in Hethereau’s wintry streets.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, NTE is set in a seamless open world city where humans live alongside supernatural anomalies. Players can explore episodic, character-driven storylines blending mystery, comedy, and drama.
Beyond its main narrative, NTE offers a wide range of side activities. From collecting and modifying sports cars, racing across the city, to designing your own urban retreat or running a business, players can shape their experience as they wish.
NTE is currently in development for PC, mobile platforms, and consoles. You pre-register or sign up for the upcoming Closed Beta test on the game’s official website.
