Maximum Football 1.0 Launches With New Season, Features, and Classic Flair

Time to Kick Off the Full Version of Maximum Football

Maximum Entertainment AB has officially released Maximum Football 1.0, now available as a free-to-play title on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. After a successful run in Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview, the full launch introduces major upgrades, new content, and community-driven enhancements.

“Today’s launch is a major milestone for the team and our community,” said Philippe Cohen, CEO of Maximum Entertainment. “We’ve built this game together with our players, and now we’re thrilled to welcome the full console and PC experience to our audience.”

Built with feedback from dedicated fans, the 1.0 version brings a host of quality-of-life improvements and customization options. Players can tailor their teams and gameplay like never before. There are many new features that reinforce the game’s commitment to creativity and control.

Leading the charge in this release is Season 3: Golden Era, a tribute to 1930s and 1940s football. With vintage uniforms, leather helmets, and a bold retro aesthetic, this season offers a nostalgic experience wrapped in modern gameplay. Two new stadiums, Old Glory Grounds and Victory Park, capture the atmosphere of classic football venues, expanding the game’s visual identity.

The full version also comes with dynamic weather, including rain and snow, making its debut. This adds both realism and new strategic layers to the game. Teams can now upload up to nine logos and customize stadiums, deepening player personalization. The new Season Pass includes both free and premium content, giving players multiple ways to stand out on the field.

With Franchise Mode on the way and more seasons set to arrive regularly, Maximum Football is shaping up to be a constantly evolving experience packed with fresh content, cosmetic options, and gameplay updates.
