Become a Manor Lord in Diplomacy Is Not an Option
Door 407 just revealed that their popular RTS game, Diplomacy is Not an Option, will officially launch out of Early Access on October 4, 2024. You can check out the epic new trailer from Gamescom 2024.
Diplomacy is Not an Option is a base-building survival RTS game that takes place in a medieval fantasy world. Imagine being a minor Lord, constantly outnumbered and always fighting for survival. Your choices shape the world’s fate, so every decision counts. With over 25,000 enemies at your gates, you’ll have to fortify your castle, rally loyal armies, and prepare for epic battles. To survive, you’ll need to master everything from engineering and economy to even a bit of magic. It’s a fight on a whole new level, where your strategy will determine whether you conquer or fall.
Since its Early Access debut in February 2022, the game has won the hearts of over players and built a loyal fanbase. The upcoming 1.0 launch will feature the full story campaign, offering players more than 100 hours of gameplay.

– Over 30 hours of content in a single playthrough
– Over 100 hours of content in total in more than 25 missions
– At least 3 factions to follow in their respective story arcs
– Multiple choices shaping the story in different ways
– At least 6 possible endings
– Various mission goals, from defending your castle to attacking enemy cities, from building your settlement in harsh conditions to escort missions, from killing massive bosses to building unique monuments.
Diplomacy is Not an Option is currently available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, GOG, and Humble for a standard price of £19.99/$24.99/€20.99. However, there will be a slight alteration to the price once version 1.0 comes out.
