The indie game studio Barkitect is delighted to announce that Knight Runner: Blade and Bolt is out now on Itch.io for free. You can head to the official page of the game on the website and enjoy it without paying anything.
Furthermore, it is getting a Steam release in the next few months as well. It will feature global leaderboards and the incorporation of any feedback.
Knight Runner: Blade and Bolt is a simple 2D top-down, endless runner where your goal is to reach as far as possible in an endless forest. Along the way, you will fight monsters, dodge traps, and collect power-ups. All the while perfectly timing your strikes to compete for the highest score.
There is no meta-progression in the game. All you have to do is to make it as far as you can through the forest. You can chain-kill the enemies to get score multipliers and aim for higher scores. Collect loots and upgrades from chests during your run while fighting thirteen types of monsters.
