Babubi Games is delighted to announce that the Steam page for its upcoming debut title, The Heirloom is finally live now. It is a thriller adventure game that takes inspiration from the atmosphere of the Hebrides and Scottish folklore. You can take a look at the official gameplay teaser right below.
The Heirloom is a single-player thriller adventure game with puzzle elements where you make important decisions. All the while navigating a story that is filled with secrets and mysteries. It follows the story of Marla, a 16-year-old orphan, and her younger brother Jack.
After tragic events, they find themselves caring for only a living relative. He is a grumpy old man desperately trying to hide the secret of a dilapidated and frightening place where he has lived in seclusion for countless decades. Forced to leave the place, Marla and Jack set off to a faraway land in a nearly deserted town located in the western part of Scotland, somewhere on the Inner Hebrides.
Once they arrived, they began to notice unexplainable and frightening things happening at their new home. These are some things that the other people living in that place struggle so hard to ignore. You must help them discover the truth behind these events and unravel the secrets of their family and their grandfather’s old lighthouse.
The Heirloom will be coming out on all the major platforms in October 2024. This includes mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Additionally, it is also getting Steam Deck support later this year. The game will be available in nine languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), Korean, and Japanese.
