Unravel the Mystery in RUNT

Developed by Grimtaste Studios and published by DreadXP, the atmospheric adventure puts players in a bleak post-apocalyptic world where humanity no longer sits at the top of the food chain.
Players take on the role of Runt Stayer, a 19-year-old and the youngest of five brothers. His already troubled life takes an even darker turn when someone or something defaces his late father’s pulpit inside an abandoned church in his rural hometown.
What initially appears to be a strange message soon turns into a disturbing mystery involving a cryptic countdown that ends on the fifth anniversary of Runt’s father’s death. As he searches for answers, he must also contend with supernatural creatures, a dangerous post-apocalyptic environment, and complicated relationships with his brothers.
The game blends visual novel storytelling with horror and mystery, using a branching dialogue system that allows player choices to shape the story and lead to multiple possible endings. The game also features a distinctive visual style combining original photography with hand-painted artwork.
Beyond surviving the dangers outside town, players will have to navigate relationships with the local townspeople while confronting difficult feelings about family, loss, and identity.
