A Biographical Adventure Awaits in the Master’s Pupil
After its initial release last year on Steam and Switch, the solo indie developer Pat Naoum is proud to announce that The Master’s Pupil will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles on 28th March 2024. Moreover, a demo version is also available on Steam for everyone to try out before diving right into it.
The Master’s Pupil is a puzzle adventure game that takes place inside the eyeball of the famous French painter Claude Monet. You will explore the eye of the master artist and experience a unique biographical adventure. Put your skills and perseverance to the test as you overcome the progressive disease that threatened Monet’s eyesight. All the while solving puzzles and helping the painter complete some of his masterpieces.
As you progress through the game, you’ll face increasing challenges that mirror Monet’s trials. Such as the loss of his wife Camille and his battles with cataracts that jeopardized his artistic prowess. Pay attention to color, space, and timing as you navigate his visual world, for a single misstep in color choice or movement could halt your expedition.
The game features a beautiful hand-painted and expertly crafted environment. The outcomes showcase distinctive visuals evoking the essence of Monet’s artistry, infused with the developer’s flair. Steven W Schouten produced its rich soundscape, further enriching the overall experience of this biographical journey.
