Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden Goes in Depth with Voice Actors

The Weight of Choice 

Hunting the undead isn’t an easy job. Every mission requires choices to be made, and some choices seem irreversible. A single wrong choice can see you dead yourself. Today, Focus Entertainment and DON’T NOD are featuring a the voice actors of their upcoming game, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, in a new video. The video, titled “The Weight of Consequences”, explores the game through the eyes of the voice actors. They go into details about the themes of the game, the choices that players need to make, and the ethics of what must be done as a Banisher. Of course, the video provides more details on the game itself. 

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden allows players to become banishers, Antea Duarte and Red Mac Raith. Interestingly, the game allows players to explore a narrative of life, death, and sacrifice. On a mission to New Eden, Antea is killed. However, she is not out of the fight. In fact, Antea becomes a spirit herself guiding Red on a mission to honor their oath of destroying spirits. Yet, the question is, will Red be able to now that his partner has become one. 

Importantly, the game lets players play as both Antea and Red interchangeably. Of course, Red brings an arsenal of weaponry. Yet, Antea is powerful herself with magical abilities. As such, each character has a differing perspective when it comes to the job. Check out the new video for a look at the themes and the character’s voice actors. View the video below. 

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is releasing on February 13, 2024  PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Currently, the game is available for pre-order.
