Going Wheely Fast
This fall, the sequel to the 2021 Hot Wheels racing game from Milestone will be burning rubber… or plastic, I guess? With Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, Milestone is taking the basics of racing and adding some fun new features. Of course, since it’s Hot Wheels, there are a ton more cars.
You can pre-order Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 now and there are a few choices of which edition you can get. There is the Standard, Deluxe, and Legendary Edition. Pre-ordering will get you the Rust and Fast pack. This contains two hot rods with their engines and exhausts poking out of the hood.
The Deluxe Edition comes with the Rust and Fast pack, as well as the Unstoppables pack. The Unstoppables pack includes an F1 Racer and Sand Burner, for the dunes. It also contains the Season Pass Vol 1, which will be released at a later time.
The Legendary Edition comes with all of the above, plus a lot more. It includes the Speed Kings pack and the Just a Scratch pack. The Speed Kings pack includes two cars that have somewhat futuristic and exotic designs. Just a Scratch pack has two cars with some of the most unconventional shapes and designs, but that’s half the fun in Hot Wheels. Season Pass Vol 2 also comes in the Legendary Edition.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged will be coming out on October 19th. It will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The Standard, Deluxe, and Legendary Editions cost $50, $70, and $90 respectively.
