The Bookwalker Brings Narrative Adventure to PC and Consoles

A Thief Through Fiction

What if you could enter a book? Now, what if you could steal artifacts from those books and transport them through realities? Well, you can now. Developer  DO MY BEST and publisher tinyBuild are happy to announce the release of their narrative adventure, The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales, on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Combining elements of a gripping narrative and turn-based RPG combat, the game invites players to step into a world of stories. A press release provides more details on the game. Additionally, players are able to view the new launch trailer for a look at the game.

The Bookwalker

The Bookwalker introduces players to Etienne Quist, an author who discovers a magical ability that allows him to become a master thief. This power allows Etienne to travel through realities. Importantly, this means he can enter the very books that inspire him the most. Interestingly, he is able to steal artifacts from these books. Of course, the game allows players to enter six popular tales, all modernized and with unexpected twists. Players will evade the writer’s police as they travel through these worlds, meet the heroes and battle the villains of popular books, and more. Additionally, players will explore these worlds with a mysterious and strange companion: a forbidden page.

Importantly, players can take a look at the game in the new trailer. The trailer shows off the gameplay, art style, and more. Check it out below.

The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.
