Zeds Underwater
It’s time for the ocean to get a little zombified. And it’s time for you to slaughter all of the undead that have found their way down there. Of course, you’ll have some new weapons to handle that. Today, developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive is excited to announce the newest update for their FPS, zombie slaying, game, Killing Floor 2. The update, titled Deep Blue Z, introduces players to the Horzine ocean lab within the Mariana’s Trench. Of course, it’s full of zeds. A press release provides more details on the update. Additionally, players can check out the update release trailer for a glimpse at what’s coming with the ocean.
Out now, the Deep Blue Z update brings a large variety of new content to the game. For instance, players can look forward to wielding two new weapons a semi-auto shotgun and a grenade launcher as they take on a new weekly game mode. Of course, players will be experiencing the update on a brand new map, the undersea research lab: Subduction.
An exciting new map deep within the Mariana’s Trench, Subduction invites players to enter the facility salvaging what can be recovered by Horzine excavation efforts. In the new mode, Contamination Zone, players will need to fight tooth and nail to hold safe zones on the map from ever-increasing hordes of zombies. However, don’t leave the zone or wind up fish food. Of course, players can check out the new trailer for a glimpse at the Deep Blue Z update.
Killing Floor 2’s Deep Blue Z update is out now. The game is available on Xbox One, Xbox One X, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
