It’s time to chill out in a relaxing atmosphere and twist your brain into knots. You thought Rubix cubes were hard, get ready for this. Today, Hyper Three Studio is excited to announce the release of their relaxing puzzle game, The Shape of Things, on Steam. The game aims to take a new approach to solving puzzles, allowing players to find themselves in a chill environment while mentally testing them to their limits. Of course, a press release provides more details on the game itself. Furthermore, a short trailer provides players with a look at how the puzzles are made and the art style of the game.Â
The Shape of Things invites players to solve some puzzles. However, these aren’t your ordinary puzzles. In fact, they are average items just a little more puzzling. The game takes everyday items, like a stopwatch or rubber duck, and turns them into Rubik’s cube-style puzzles to solve. Obviously, each puzzle will be different and require a different type of pattern to solve. Importantly, every puzzle is in various combinations. You need to find the correct position for each piece by rotating, panning, or scaling until you find the correct order.Â
