Destiny 2 Partners With PlayStation Studios for New Armor

Saviors, Ghosts, and Gods

Even if you aren’t elbow-deep in the sci-fi shooter, you can appreciate this. Destiny 2 has just updated to 7.1.0 and there are a bunch of surprises for PlayStation fans. Xbox and PC players can join in too, but new armor upgrades are inspired by some familiar PlayStation games.

In video posted to the Destiny 2 Twitter account, you can see how your Guardians can dress up as characters from God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Ghost of Tsushima. Titans can wear armor with patterns that resemble Kratos’ style, as well as perform his sweet finisher. Hunters’ new armor have the color pallet of Aloy’s tribe and Warlocks can wear the armor of Jin Sakai.

Your Sparrow, Ghost, and spaceship can also be outfitted with some gross stuff. Growths that can be found on Clickers in The Last of Us make neat accessories. There are also locations that resemble the rundown world of Ellie.

The new Destiny 2 trailer also has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Ratchet and Clank reference. Some enemies will now reward Guardians with Bolts, which they will proudly show off with a familiar pose from our favorite Lombax.

These neat crossover items are on top of the improvements and additions that normally come with a major update like this. Destiny 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Which of these crossovers are your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.
