Prepare to step into the darkest fairytale you’ve ever heard. This summer, the darkness comes alive. Today, NEOWIZ unveiled a new character trailer as well as the release date for their upcoming dark RPG, Lies of P. The new trailer shows off the character of Simon, a mysterious figure in the city of Krat. Importantly, the trailer also reveals the release month, August, for the game. Lies of P is a dark twist on the story of Pinocchio. Players will explore a city in ruins as a mechanoid Pinocchio. Of course, this city is a hellscape, full of monsters and dangerous figures. Importantly, players will need to use everything they can to survive. This means crafting new weapons, interacting with a cast of characters, and making important narrative choices. The fate of player’s individual stories hangs in the balance because choices players make matter. Furthermore, players can look for elements of the fairy tale to be weaving in and out of the narrative as the players advance through the story.Â
