Re:Turn, Psychological Horror, Returns With a Sequel Launching January

2D Horror Comes Back

Are you ready to face the evil aboard the train. That’s right Red Ego Games is bringing a sequel to their psychological horror game Re:Turn: One Way Trip. A press release about the sequel, Re:Turn 2: Runaway, provides more details about the game as well as what’s in store for fans.

Re:Turn 2 feature

“It was clear to us that we had the pillars in place to deliver the game experience we wanted and had so much more of Saki’s story to share so we’re excited to share this new chapter with everyone,” says Omar Bik, founder of Red Ego Games, in the press release.

Of course Runaway places the player back into the role of main character Saki. Players will follow her story as she deals with the evils within an abandoned train with her fiancé. In addition to following the story, players need to remember that their actions have consequences. You choose how to deal with the evil you face, run, hide, or face the spirit haunting you.

Re:Turn 2 features the same style of 2D graphics as its predecessor. Yet, they are updated. According to the press release “Re:Turn 2 boasts completely reworked, vibrant, hand-illustrated in-game visuals and animations as well as a full voice acting and brand new sound track.”

Currently the game will become available on Xbox consoles, PC, and the Nintendo Switch on January 28th. For those who feel they are brave enough, a demo is available on Steam right now. Will you be able to brave the train, or will you meet a worse fate than the spirits trapped there?
