I’m old enough to remember a time when Nemesis was the single most terrifying video game enemy I had ever encountered before, and that was back when he was an amalgamation of polygons more than a real, flesh and blood character. Skip to many, many years in the future and here we are with the fully remastered and quite gorgeous iteration of the iconic Resident Evil 3, complete with undoubtedly one of the series most iconic villains before the franchise started going to some much weirder places. Resident Evil 3 has received overwhelming acclaim for its new adaptation and for good reason: not only has the classic experience been brought to current gen in all its glorious horror, it’s been given a much needed face lift while retaining its truly horrific roots. “But wait!” you may exclaim “How will I know if this truly is the Resident Evil game for me?” Fear not, fellow gamer, as we have not one but three separate gameplay videos here for you today to check out Resident Evil 3 and see for yourself why this horror masterpiece deserves to be in your library.
