The multiplayer component of Red Dead Redemption 2, better known as Red Dead Online is giving away a ton of free stuff this week. However, the most valuable thing that players can get their hands on has to be the gold bars. It might be a bit of a shock, but it turns out solid gold bars can get you a lot of things in Wild West. For this week only, Red Dead players can get up to five gold bars just for showing up. Think of it as a really valuable participation medal.
If players continue to log back in on a daily basis this week, the more free items Rockstar will put in their inventories. Things like increased tonics to heal you during a fight, snake oils, and even incendiary rounds for your shotgun. Needless to say, if you are starting out in the cruel and unforgiving world of Red Dead Online, you might want to cash in on this opportunity so you can get a leg up on the competition. The days of you getting griefed by high-level players are over!
The generosity does not stop there. Most items that can be found in stores are going to be sold at some sort of discount. Cosmetic items and horses are going to be around 50% to 70% off. Most of the time a new horse is something that a player would have to save up for. If you have been eye a new trusty steed to carry you on your adventures then you should not let this go to waste.
Keep in mind that all of the revenue Rockstar makes this month off of Red Dead Redemption is going straight to the coronavirus relief fund. So all of your money is going to a good cause.
