The Top Rated Video Games on Metacritic for the Last Decade Have Been Revealed
As 2019 is nearing an end, so too is an entire decade. To celebrate another 10 momentous years in gaming and all the strides that have been taken, Metacritic has shared its list of the top reviewed games over the last ten years. As it turns out, maybe a little unsurprising, Rockstar and Nintendo have come out on top!
That’s right, Nintendo and Rockstar both dominated the top 5 of the entire list. Nintendo’s top rated games of the entire decade are Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario Odyssey, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. And though you might be able to guess which Rockstar games came out on top, we’re going to tell you anyway: Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. What is incredibly interesting about these five games is that they all actually received the same score of a whopping 97! And if you’re curious to see if your favorite games made the list, you can take a look at Metacritic’s 50 best reviewed games of the last ten years, since 2010, below.
