Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will launch on June 18th for Xbox One, PS4, Steam, and GOG, the game’s publisher 505 Games announced Thursday. It’ll release on the Nintendo Switch later that month on June 25th.
“We’re looking forward to announcing more very soon, including details about full game features, stretch goal content, how the game will be offered for sale and where, preorder info etc,” the announcement on Kickstarter also read.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night places players in control of Miriam, a cursed woman whose body is steadily crystallizing because of the curse. Notably, Miriam was also one of the optional playable characters in the 2018 spin-off, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon.
In order to stop her affliction, Miriam must journey to a magical castle to stop Gebel, a vampire who is under the influence of an evil power. She’ll have to battle Gebel in order to stop his evil plans and save herself from the curse.
