PS4, Nintendo Switch, or ‘Other’
The developers of Persona 5 and Catherine are reaching out to fans about what they’d like to see next. This inquiry came in the form of an Atlus survey on Twitter. So, even if Persona 5 never makes it to the Nintendo Switch, maybe some of their other titles will?
Gosh, there’s just so many options here! Remakes and remasters are always fun, but every game on the planet should eventually be on the Nintendo Switch. If people ask about a sequel it seems like a waste, since they’re almost certainly developing one anyway. If you want something utterly insane, you can always check off the ‘other’ box and write them a dedicated piece about Shin Megami Tensei genre mashups.
As much as I’d like to see more Persona games (and Atlus games in general) on the Nintendo Switch, I know that certain titles will be more challenging than others. Not Persona 5, though. That one should have been a slam dunk. As well as every previous Persona game. Actually, there’s almost nothing Atlus has released that wouldn’t run like gangbusters on the Switch. It’s for the fans to decide, now. Based on sales of the system and most of its games, they will probably decide on something Switch-related. Such are my hopes!
