Metro: Exodus Story Trailer
Metro: Exodus, an upcoming first-person shooter developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver, is the third in the series of video games based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels, following the games Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic Russia, the story follows Artyom and Anna, now married, as they traverse the world in their escape from the dangerous landscape around them. The story trailer below has a little more heart than these bare details, either bringing you back into the world you know or throwing you into one that makes you ready to learn it.
Set to a backdrop of unsettlingly beautiful post-apocalyptic Russian backdrops, this trailer teases a rich world full of character drama and survival action. There’s plenty going on, with more at stake than just the lives of our heroes while they grapple with the ramifications of a post-nuclear life- something that many of them have been doing since they were children. While there’s a lot left to be revealed, Metro: Exodus promises a good story filled with nefarious enemies and the kinds of protagonists who’re going to have to work hard to bring them down. Oh, I could be wrong. We’ll see on February 15th, won’t we?
