When you ask a Spider-Man fan about iconic moments in the web-slingers history, more often than not you’ll hear someone mention the iconic trilogy by Sam Raimi. With a careful craft and minor changes to the source material, the wall-crawler – played by Tobey Maguire – what we got was the most memorable outing of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man we could have ever hoped for. Raimi’s Spider-Man was one of the defining moments when comic book movies suddenly became viable, that a good story could be told from that medium. With the launch of the critically acclaimed Spider-Man game on PS4 this year, players saw a host of Spidey-costumes from across his decorated history, but the most requested costume of all was nowhere to be found. Spider-Man is the critically acclaimed PS4 exclusive title which offered an incredible balance of new and familiar narratives, a believable and established rogues gallery for Spidey to fight, and incredible web-swinging mechanics that are absolutely bar none. Many fans of the webhead have spent countless hours simply swinging through New York because of the incredible sensation it leaves behind. This has truly been a mastercraft in gaming and giving fans the Raimi Suit to live out their nostalgic memories is simply icing on the cake.
