Bethesda Sending Out Canvas Bags Anyways Somehow

The Plot and Bag Material Thickens…

The Fallout 76 controversy continues as Bethesda seems to be walking back being unable to provide Power Armor Edition buyers with the canvas bags promised in the original advertising for the special edition of the game.

The developer stated on Twitter that they’re currently “finalizing manufacturing plans for replacement canvas bags for the Fallout 76: Power Armor Edition,” and that buyers will need to submit a ticket here by January 31st to claim them, which is kinda bizarre considering all the unsold Power Armor Editions will still have the nylon bag in the box.

This comes after Bethesda offered a measly $5 worth of Atoms, Fallout 76’s in-game currency, as compensation for the widespread disappointment for replacing the originally promised canvas bags with nylon ones without notice, and a Washington D.C. law firm has begun investigating refund refusals for the PC version of the game.

Fallout 76 is currently available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Be sure to check out our review of the game and let us know if you’ll be claiming your canvas bag in the comments.
