The massively popular, critically acclaimed masterpiece was an even bigger hit than expected and set a new gold standard for video games. With fans clambering to get even more out of the Ghost of Sparta, Santa Monica Studios have given the fans the perfect reason to explore the Norse world all over again: New Game Plus. Letting players keep their gear and abilities, you can start over once more with the death of Atreus’ mother and work your way through one of the most well written narratives to ever grace the small screen. God of War is the critically acclaimed soft reboot of the hack and slash action series from Santa Monica Studios. The series picks up where the previous title left off after a great period of time, seeing Kratos age, slow down, and use his experience and intelligence over his untempered rage. The series has shifted from the Greek Mythology to the Norse Mythology, and the play style has become a third person title with RPG elements as opposed to the blind and wild combat the series was known for. New Game Plus not only lets players start over with all of their gear and experience intact, but enemy AI will react differently, meaning you’ll need to learn their attack patterns all over again.
