Mobile Version’s Latest Update Bodes Well For Console Release
Horizon Chase World Tour just got a massive update! What does this mean for console players, who look upon mobile releases with scorn and derision? Possibly nothing, perhaps almost everything. After all, the better the mobile game, the better the eventual console port. Right?
To catch you up. the Horizon Chase series is all about racing in that retro arcade style. The neon colors, the perspective and the soundtrack all combine forces to create a pretty convincing retro racing experience. The update in question will bring new tracks, a new cup and new upgrades to the mobile version of the game. Also it’s out right this second! The Cup in question is Hawaiian, which is somehow what will convince me to download the game on my phone. The complete update details are listed below:
-Hawaii Cup – Retro tracks inspired by the beautiful landscapes and daunting weather across the tropical climate of Hawaii
-Nine Spinetingling New Tracks – Zip through hairpin turns and rapid straightaways in nine new tracks designed to challenge even the most experienced Horizon Chasers
-Two New Vehicles – Jump in the driver’s seat of two unique vehicles:
   -Janis –This car’s six nitro boosts will require strategic racing and coordination to maximize the speed.
   -Elite 275 – Accelerate to all-time highs in this top-out speedster
-Bodykit Upgrade – Throw the bodykit on new and existing vehicles for added performance and all around good looks.
-The update also offers several platform-specific features, including:
iOS
   -iPhone X Support;
   -Cross-save support with Apple TV via iCloud;
   -Added ReplayKit for players to share their best times;
Android and Android TV
   -Added cross-save support with Android TV and Android phones via Google Play
