Treyarch Reveals a Limited-Time Only Black Ops 4 Calling Card for Black Ops 3 Players

Treyarch Unveils Black Ops 4 Calling Card for Call of Duty: Black Ops III

With rumors flying around about what the next Call of Duty title would be called, a couple days ago Treyarch officially announced that Black Ops 4 would launch this coming October. Of course that wasn’t all that fans were talking about, with some wondering why Black Ops IIII did not read Black Ops IV. Maybe they were never roman numerals at all. Now that we’ve had a few days to digest that information Treyarch is giving Black Ops 3 players a chance to pick up a brand new Black Ops 4 calling card.

Though the release date was revealed with a short teaser telling us to “forget what you know” about the franchise, the full reveal for the latest installment in the series is coming on May 17th. It would seem that Treyarch wishes to celebrate their huge reveal, offering a Black Ops 4 calling card to all Black Ops 3 players. You might want to hurry if you want to pick it up however, as it’s only available for the next couple of days!

The calling card is a simple one, featuring the now infamous ‘IIII’ symbol. If you’re looking to check it out before you jump onto Black Ops 3, you can check out the tweet from Treyarch’s official Twitter page below.

As it states in the tweet, picking up the calling card is easy. All you have to do is log into Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 from March 9th to March 12th at 10 AM PST/1 PM EST to get it for free. It’s worth mentioning that though you can’t tell from the tweet above, the calling card is animated, with lines splitting down the middle of the symbol, similar to the teaser trailer below.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to launch on October 12, 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. What do you think about the calling card? And are you excited for Black Ops 4? Let us know in the comments below and keep it locked for updates!
