Call of Duty: WW2 Has Activision Games From the 80’s; Find Out Where in New Video

Play Some Retro Activision Games in Call of Duty: WW2

In just under 24-hours Call of Duty returns to its World War II roots with Call of Duty: WW2, developed by Sledgehammer Games. Our review will go live tonight at 9:00 pm PT but in the meantime, we have some pretty cool news to share, including a video where you can play Activision games from the 1980’s in Call of Duty: WW2. That is right, you can jump in and play some classic retro games from the 1980’s in the Headquarters social hub in the game. Check out where you play the games below:

The games include Pitfall, Grand Prix and Fishing Derby to name a few. We played the games at a recent Call of Duty event and needless to say they were an absolute blast, in bite-sized play sessions.

Headquarters is an all-new off-the-frontlines experience for Call of Duty players. Players will socialize, compete, earn rewards, show off their accomplishments, and connect with fans and friends.

Unlike anything experienced in a Call of Duty to date, Headquarters transforms the multiplayer experience by re-defining how players engage with the game and each other.

Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany.

The journey begins on November 3.
