They’ve done it again. We did an article on the most expensive Assassin’s Creed Origins Collector’s Edition, coming in at $800. Apparently that wasn’t enough for them, as Ubisoft teams up with high-end hi-fi product manufacturer Focal to create the most expensive headphones ever imagined. A crown of sound fit for a Pharaoh! A-ha! A-ha!
Focal announced Focal’s Listen Wireless headphones that have been customized for Assassin’s Creed Origins. The first collection – the Assassin’s Creed Origins Listen Wireless Headphones – are limited to 2222 units and designed exclusively for the Ubisoft Store. Barf.
The Listen Wireless headphones offer Assassin’s Creed fans an exceptional product of French expertise with a sophisticated design. The quality of Focal headphones will let them enjoy high quality sound for up to 20 hours while immersing them into the huge world of Assassin’s Creed Origins. They are also equipped with a “clear voice capture” double microphone system for even greater clarity of speech and conversations. You must really love Assassin’s Creed to spend this much on some headphones that have been customized by renowned French jeweler Tournaire with real-ass gold. They used 3-D modeling to craft each embroidered piece!

I joked when I said the collector’s edition had a real eagle skull which is why it was so expensive, but this is RIDICULOUS. The most expensive headphones ever for a game. But! They will throw in a bronze head of Bayek for only €12,000. A drop in the bucket compared to what you just paid for these headphones! And bronze is the trash metal; it represents 3rd place, or the farthest loser that we must acknowledge with his brown feces medal. Get him out of my sight. I wish for only golden headphones modeled after my favorite game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, all others suck compared to it. They should get a bronze medal.
